Dr. Nancy Hubbard, DPhil
Nancy Hubbard, DPhil, FRSA is a best-selling business author with over 15 years of consulting experience specializing in strategy development, culture and change management, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and alliances, as well as organization and team assessments and effectiveness. Nancy worked with Booz, Allen & Hamilton as a strategy consultant and KPMG (UK) consulting on M&A and partnerships in a career that has spanned 28 countries throughout the world.
Nancy is regularly quoted in mainstream publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, the Financial Times, HR Review, HR Weekly, Accountancy Age, and Acquisitions Monthly and appears on ABC, NBC and FOX affiliate stations throughout Virginia. She wrote one of Europe’s best selling acquisition books, Acquisition: Strategy and Implementation (also published in the US), as well as Conquering Global Markets, sponsored by KPMG, in which she interviewed C-suite executives from some of the world’s largest and most successful companies. It was published in English and Japanese where it was a best-selling business book.
She has also served as the Dean of the University of Lynchburg’s College of Business, Professor at Goucher College, is a Professor at IAE University of Marseilles and formerly at SKOLKOVO (Moscow School of Management), and was a Lecturer and Associate Fellow of Green Templeton College (University of Oxford) for 17 years.
Nancy holds her undergraduate business degrees from Georgetown and her graduate degrees from the University of Oxford (Master’s in Human Resource Management and a DPhil in Management—Psychology of M&A Implementation).
